Hi
I am going through some posts & it seems that not many companies provide full relocation benefits when moving from US to India.
By full, I mean airfare for family, moving costs, lease breakage etc.
Please add your comments or information if you know that a particular company does or does not provide this
This is just to get an idea & may be help all of us while negotiating (FYI, I was offered full relo by a IB, sorry, can't names yet as I have to accept th offer yet!!)

Full relocation to a diff country has been offered but, haven't taken that up due to other preferences, then. Full relocation is generally offered with mid to senior level roles. Have moved across the US with full relocation though.

what kind of companies offer such benefits? Are they usually the big shot MNCs like Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco etc. or smaller ones or Indian IT firms? Also does it come without asking or we have to negotiate hard for it?

Do you work in mid and senior level roles? Any specific reasons for pondering / rejecting offers?

Mid level. Close to accepting the offer as I found getting a job offer from US (including the relo) very challenging.
Though a lot of folks have posted getting offers, I found that unless you are technically exceptional, or you are referred by some one in the company, the offers are simply too hard to come by, but that is a different topic.
