Nice to see you in other thread. I was a little sad to see your part I close.

BTW, what is the admission process for IIM-A? How did you manage clearing their entrance, interview, GD .... I mean what kind of preparation you had to do, how many hours you devoted for entrance test preparation and for how long, their fees?
Any other info you htink might be helpful for any other aspiring IIM-A candidate, I would love to know all that.....

After R2I, if i dont get a job, might join you at IIM-A:).

PS: For wifey......hope you got a pack of ear plugs by now.....hehe:)

TIA,

All,

I will try my best to keep posting the updates.

Life with wife has been okay so far. My 4 days of forced bachelorhood just ended, and our first day back together ended in a fight. So yes, things are going great :-)

Mumbai_2009,

You should definitely go to Cherrapunjee area, PM/email me and I will send you the details. Btw- My wife is fast catching up on her hiking skills- though not quite upto your level yet!

Soomdy,

You can look up the PGPX program at IIM-A's link for details- -it is a pretty straightforward process. No GD!!! It is GMAT based, I prepared for half an hour a day for a total of a month.

I am glad you reminded me of the earplugs. Actually I think I need selective hearing plugs...

... and the grind has begun.

I cannot believe it has been two weeks since the program started.
Reading materials, group studies, role play exercises, assignments, surprize tests...the list is endless.

On the non-academic side, birthdays (including wife's and mine), settling down (finally) in the apartment,etc...

Ahmedabad is hot, but the schedule is getting hotter!

How about Chills Frills and Thrills Ice Cream shop?. You can try it if it's still there (I think it was in Navrangpura but not so sure now).

Best wishes and good luck with your program.
