Dear Sayer, I did a lot of research on schools during the last 1 year but never heard about Chinmaya Vid.
I am also planning to send our daughter to VIBGYOR, Marthahalli from next year. I have heard all great things about the school. I haven't come across any one yet who has anything bad to say about it.
After talking to about 10 parents of VIBGYPR kids, I have decided on VIBGYOR. Also, pressure on child is much less and they have good set of activities.
They are also open to kids with special needs in the same class as normal kids which teaches normal kids to be compassionate....i liked this point.

To be honest, I have not enquired much about these 2 as both are quite far off(15-18 kms) from our place. Also, I am not very keen on International schools so that is another reason not to find out info but I have heard great things about inventure.
I have heard good things about Deens also. Infrastructure is good, etc. It is affiliated to CBSE if I am not wrong. So if I had to make a choice, I would vouch for CBSE over int'l syllabus.
Have you considered Vidya Shilp, Vidya Niketan and the third one(sorry, cudnt recollect the name)? I have heard they are excellent.....these are close to hebbal.

We are moving to whitefield, so these are closer I had not considered vibgyor earlier after reading couple of negative comments on other forums. Planning to check it out after your comments, liked the syllabus but the site on the young achievers page seems to be showing kids from mumbai. Not that I want my kid to be an achiever :), but these are some of the stuff we can use for comparison from over here. Inventure seems better in that criteria. Do you know about the quality of teachers in Vibgyor? Some people had concerns on that, their syllabus seems good though.
I have heard vidya silp etc are excellent but too far from whitefield. I had called up Deens but they said no seats for my sons grade, I might try next year if I am not happy with the school I choose.

If you are considering International Schools, you can try Gopalan international school also. It is amongst the top Int'l schools in b'lore.
Also, try TISB which has been voted Asia's best international school. It is run by NPS chairman's daughter. (www.tisb.org). It is in Whitefield. I think if you are open to int'l schools, you should give priority to gopalan and TISB and thn inventure may be. but do your do diligence.
have you tried zeeksha.com? it is a website for schools.

Thanks our.r2i, we've decided to stick with Inventure for now. Husband visited a few of the schools in the area, and he liked Inventure the best, for once I've decided to trust his decision. :)
I did check Zeeksha and a some other blogs, had come up with a short list based on reviews posted there. In a couple of months I'll post mine on Inventure, hopefully it will turn out good.

Plan2010,
Good to know somebody who has decided on Inventure. Can you let us know what made you decide on Inventure? What grade is your child going to? I have not heard any negative comment about Inventure in any of the education sites either. Now that the school year has started, what is your first impression about the school? Also, can you post information on the fees structure at Inventure? Thanks in advance.
