Horrible Incident

It is only incidents like these that make me think about going back to India. For every 1 step I go forward, news like these take me 16 steps back.

(Not for the light hearted).

A policemen gets hacked while being part of a convoy accompanying several ministers and on top of it, the ministers are twiddling their thumbs when the man dies. What kind of people are these?
What kind of society we have bequeathed ourselves. Why are our people so heartless? Are we not humans?

A policeman on duty during a minister's visit was cut to pieces in front of the minister due to some other rivalry. He was lying in a pool of blood and the response for ambulance etc was slow. There were videos of minister just watching the cop die. If you watch the video posted by the OP you will see. It was discussed in detail here

Thanks Layman, briefly looked into the posting, sad part is even here in US almost everyday murder/mugging etc. happens but it's just that we don't pay much attention. Crime is there everyplace in the world. In US the place where you may be CRIME FREE as long as no crime happens !!!! I have heard about great upscale neighborhood considered very safe and surprise crime happening in those places....

True. I do not disagree with you about the crime part. But, there are some differences. Cops have a better life and they behave in a better way in US, compared to India. In daily life, there are not many instances a common man has to deal with corruption in US compared to India. On the negative side if terror happens in US, it happens quickly and in a big way because of the easy availability of guns and weapons.
