We will be in whitefield..just curious..which hypermart do you like and why? If there is anyone from the usa/canada..do these resemble "target" or the walmart supercenters or trader joes?

they all look quite nice on the inside and seem to stock everything "american". What am I missing from these stores and what should I stock up on.

Is there anything from these stores that you wished they had or you wished you would have loaded up on before you R2ied?

I live in Bangalore but have visited the US several times for period varying from weeks to months - but still I guess my perspective will be slightly different from someone who plans to R2I.

Well Spencers is more upmarket than Big Bazaar. Have not tried Spar but I think I've heard its rated higher than Big Bazaar. Spencers will probably stock more of the "non-indian" stuff you might need than the others. If you find a M K Retail anywhere near, I would recommend you give them a try. They are far more efficient than most other retail stores.

If you have some regular "stuff" that you cannot do without but not sure if you'll find it at any of these places, drop me a line (is there a way you can send me a private msg on this forum?) and perhaps I will be able to give you a more specific reply.
