There wasn't a generic cricket thread so i created one so we could discuss all things cricket here.

You can add anything about the current matches or discuss about the matches that you play during your weekends.

Is anybody watching the game today? Pathetic!
I'm not sure if they'll even get to 150!

Hope we can get as many as possible and bat out 50 (though only 3 wickets left),,,, run rate will be destroyed if this stays this way and all out <100.

I said to myself that with KD Karthik, Rowdy Jadeja, Off-form Partying Waterboy Yuvraj... in plaing XI, India won't win. They lived upto my expectation but its very disappointing to be 88 all out and blame it squarely on the pitch.

How can the pitch change so much over a lunch break??...silly excuse if that's what dhoni said post game.......The Indians just couldn't touch the ball...i have seen poor performances before but this was amazing . from 40/0 to 88/10....dosent make sense....

They thought they were chasing 88 instead of 288 :) By that count it was a tie.

MS Dhoni: "Ross and Styris batted really well. We got couple of chances but we didn't accept it. The wicket had spongy bounce and that was what did the trick. they got a kind of bounce that put us in awkward situation."

... like his troops were all in top form. looks like Team India is enjoying parties more than cricket matches. they get paid huge sum so cricket takes a back-seat.
they should all take inspiration from Sachin

If they took inspiration from Sachin then India would have had to skip this tri-series. Given today's outcome maybe not a bad idea:)

All my fault. With NZ on 57/3, I went out and watched Inception.

sumeet;318128If an Indian bowler were to have done it he would be a 'smart', 'thinking', cricketer.
Sehwag himself in his typical honest self said it was justifiable for the bowler to deny the batsman a hundred in his bowling!:)

Its not the first time that this sort of unsportsman like behavior has happened. But, again, these tactics to deny a batsman a century or a wicket is shameful and shows his mental weakness, IMO.
When Kumble was on his way to get a 10 wicket haul against the Pakis, Waqar Younis had asked Akram if he could get run-out to deny Kumble of a 10 wicket haul. So, its not new.
