Moving to Hicksville, NY - Need information

Hi,

I'm thinking of moving to Hicksville, NY (or area around it), will be working in Holtsville.
Can someone give bit more information about of cost of living?
1) How much would it cost for family of 2 adults + 1 child.
2) Apartment where more Indians are residing and the approx rent for 2 bedroom?
3) Which school district is good for Elementary school?
4) Any additional information would be really helpful.
