ROKU, Netflix and IP Address Spoofing in India

Post by subhap »

I was wondering if anyone has successfully used ROKU set top box in India to Stream Netflix, Pandora, Flixster.

I inquired with Roku Customer support : They replied Roku is only meant for US region. However anything is possible..

Anyone succeeded in Spoofing IP addresses to get Netflix streaming back in India?

thank you

Does Roku have support for 220V or would one need to buy a transformer?

I have heard that if you use a US VPN, you can access Netflix/Pandora streaming. There are several providers who give you US VPN access for a fees.

I would like to use ROKU from India. Can you list the service providers for US VPN access?

What kind of a net connection/ bandwidth does one need for this?

In terms of Download speed / Latency or in terms of net connection you have used?
