Akshay Kumar Action Replay, a remake of The Curious Case of Ben

Brad Pitt-Cate Blanchett starrer film, that opened to an overwhelming response in India, has caught the fancy of filmmaker Vipul Shah.
Though Shah asserts that his film was scripted before he saw TCCOBB, the two films are surprisingly based on the theme of reverse aging.
According to media sources, the film opens with a 62-year-old Akshay Kumar who is shown aging back to 26.
Living any man?s dream life, the actor is shown to grow younger with each generation leap. From being a father, Akshay grows to be a fashionable young dude of the swinging 70s with bell-bottoms and wide belts.
And even though the unique paring of Ash and Akshay is bound to raise curiosity, the script is a classic case of an old wine in a new bottle.
Action Replay is set to release in November this year.
