N470 for a startup

Post by obelixr2i »

Hi

I am working on R2I this April. I filed my I131 today. I can apply for USC in August 2012 and I have accrued the continuous residency already.

This is for a startup I have been working for the past 2.5 years. We are a very small operation (< 10 people) with modest revenue. The company is HQed in US and the Indian office is a fully owned subsidiary.

Has anyone in this group applied for N470 for a small company and had success? I have a few questions if you have.

AFAIK, Once you have GC, they should not care where/how you are employed. I know a person who semi retired in India, but came back for the oath ceremony.
