Old links not working

I noticed that many of the embedded links in the dairys and such are not working but simply taking to the Forum home page. Is there anything we can do about them.

If you can copy and post here a couple of those broken links, we can perhaps look and offer some suggestions.

For that matter I am seeing the same behavior for all embedded links that are more than a few months older.

The links in posts above and in the threads specified have been fixed.

We will look into this further. In the meantime, if you come across here are two things that you may want to do.

1. Post here the broken link and the name of the thread and post # that has a broken link in it.
2. Right click on the broken link and click "Properties". You will see the name of the target thread in the URL in the properties. Copy the name of the target thread (name of thread only) and paste that in google search above and you will be able to locate the thread.

I am seeing references to some probably useful threads but am not able to search them.

For eg the posting #66 of
"Thread: Dual Taxation - Working in India but Employed with US company"

mentions about thread "Taxation when working in India - Still Employed with US" but I am not able to find it.

The link points to

How do I get to it ?

I suspect that the two threads you mention have been merged into one.

If you see the word "clubvb" in the link, replace it with "forums" in URL.

http://www.r2iclubforums.com/ clubvb/showthread.php?t=1072

change it to :
http://www.r2iclubforums.com/ forums/showthread.php?t=1072

Please note, I inserted an extra space between the forums to display the complete URL for understanding, otherwise the long URLs will be shortened and displayed.
