Is it good time to transfer money to India

The rates are 1 USD= 44.90 or 45.00. Anybody thinks will this rate go up in another month? Can I make a move and transfer the money?

Exchange rate has been hoovering between 44.9 to 45.9 for the past couple of weeks. So many things have happened within the last two months but nothing drastic happened within Forex.

Exchange rate has been tightly controlled in recent times and market volatality does not have much of an impact on US-IND currency rate.

So i would advice you to transfer your money at your convenience. But act on your own.

Thanks for your suggestion. I also thought that waiting too long is not good either. I will go ahead and transfer.

i said rate closed in on 48 intra day....not sure what's the big deal between 47.5 and 48.
