RRS - I don't know if I fully understand that question? But again, when it comes to FB I don't understand many things . . so pardon me!!! :p

But why would my ex-classmate who may or may not have had hidden feelings for me (or I for her for that matter), want to be friends with my wife on FB? Or are you asking whether we would discuss with wife before adding the ex-friend as friend on FB?

Am I confused? Or confusing? :))

I think all wifes should become friends with the ex's, the grief is lessser when is distributed amongst many men.

Ex of Desis are usually not at par with Ex of Americans or other westerners.

For many Desis, if you hold someone's hand at a party, and then come back home, then you gained an Ex. ;)
For most westerners, only if you have slept with the person, and said tata-bye-bye, then you gain an Ex :)
