All insurance companies are sweet and best till you file a claim.

Having said that, insubuy has given pretty good answers:
Go for comprehensive than limited one and buy from US.
I bought Atlas America from them, their website has calculator for you to check.

At the end of the day insurance is for your peace of mind to handle new conditions, not preexisting ones.

Laision International was highly recommended by a few people to me. So I bought this for my parents/In-laws when they visited use. They have good coverage and in most cases you don’t have to pay upfront. So you don’t have to struggle for you getting your money back.

I didn't have to use the insurance for any medical visits. But one of my co-worker had used this insurance for X-Ray and ECG and paid only $ 100 for the whole thing.

It can be confusing when there are several plans available and lots of similarities.
Here is a great tool unique tool that can help to decide by comparing the benefits, you can see that in a given situation which policy will pay what.

Any other insurance options other than visitorscoverage.com? Its an old thread but hoping someone would have had a recent experience.

We bought the Incoming Guest option and it is provided by Four Corners, nobody knows about it and nobody is accepting it. Wouldn't mind paying little more but looking for a decent insurance coverage.

Thanks

Recently, I see that many plans are covering Pre-existing condition too. For < 70 yrs, it is good but after that it is just $25K..I guess something is better than nothing.

Do you have personal experience with any of these? Could you please let me know which one you used. I need to buy for my mother-in-law. She is 65.
Thanks
