Movies for children

Post by neesha »

I am not much of a movie person but have promised the children to see a movie with them every Friday evening so I would like to know some good/popular movie titles.
Age group : 6 +

I would be interested in Indian movies as well where they can learn about the country/culture etc.

My kid recently saw Rio ..very nice. Gnomeo and Juliet ( I found it too boring but they enjoyed it). Home alone
Other Indian movies: Roadside romeo, hum hain rahi pyaar ke ( barring a few scenes/songs with aamir/juhi)
will add to the list as I remember

One of my friend suggested "do duni chaar" as good family movie. I'm planning to watch that with kids on next weekend.

LOR, thanks ! 'hum hain rahi pyar ke' good reminder. It will be a nice movie to see with children. Please do update the list whenever you can. I am committed for every Friday so I will need a long list.

Phorpha (The Cup) - if you can find the DVD for it with English subtitles. It is a very endearing movie.
