Can't believe this.

Just got to Vegas. Logged on and checked out TOI and this song is the headline news.

Went to youtube, nearly 4 million hits and majority are rave reviews, wow :) Tamil cinema - though Regional - always causes ripples in the Country. I liked it but there have been countless # of better Tamil Songs produced in the past. What's attracting youth, no clue but long live Tamil Cinema and wish more creativity - good or bad - in the coming years.

They always do. But, it takes 2 hands to clap. Inspite of the massive amount of promotions or virals, not all songs become a hit. Do you think the promo for this song is more than the promo for the Rocksar songs? Nothing against Rockstar, just to say that promotions are common. I have not even started on promotions/virals of Britney, Lady Gaga and the likes.

I think this song is very cleverly promoted. Most likely, all this ..the song just happened, Dhanush wrote it etc is bs. This song might have been well thought out and made and then released/promoted appropriately. But, the beauty is, it took off very well.

Some group remade the song with female voice. The music instruments such as clarinet doesn't sound exact, but sounds alright!
