My wife drops dead when she speaks to her office boss/new people when she meets or talks to them at the office and she doesn't speak well in front of others as well. She is introvert and always wants me to go talk to everyone (when we shop/go outside)and get things done for her.She is helpful to me everyday as she take cares of me in the best manner but I am not able to help her improve her conversation skills.
I want her to improve her comm/conversation skills.Could you please suggest few books which would help her gain confidence in the way she talks and how she converses with other people.
Toast masters is not viable for us with her/my busy schedules. Please suggest.

Sorry that no one has replied. I assume that you are living in US. I don't know of any books but I've heard of public classes run by counties or cities which were created mainly to help hispanic communities. My uncle went to such a class when he visited my cousin at CA. I'm sure there are private classes as well. Please google to find out (one such link).
IMO, instead of reading books it'll be much better if she interacts with people. She can try participating in activities of interest to her where she would be confident of doing a good job and at the same time she would have chances of interacting with people.

Need help -Which books would help improve conversation skills
I had a similar problem , though to a much lesser degree and I worked through it one step at a time. It does not bother me much in daily life any more , but still creates awkward moments when I am forced to socialize or talk to strangers during professional gatherings. I do not believe that this has some thing to do with linguistic abilities. This is something innate, a part of personality.I do not think any classes are needed but as Suba suggested ,venturing outside the comfort zone one step at a time is the best way .
There is a recent book I read : Quiet. The power of introverts in a world that cannot stop talking. The author Susan Cain makes a compelling argument that being a shy introvert is okay and is not necessarily a handicap
