Hi All,
After reading through this thread, looks like many of you are sending your kids to Greenwood High International. Can you please give some current feedback about the school. We are considering for my kid who will be joining 5th grade this year.

Hi,

We currently live in the US and are planning to move to India this June. My son will be starting his 4th grade. After some research, we decided on GW high and applied last november. We couldn't attend the meet/test they had early Feb, and they didn't have the option of taking the test remotely. When asked if we could block a seat by paying the admission fee, we were told that the admission is full and asked us to contact them in person when we return to India to find out if there are openings.

does any of you have a similar experience with GW high.. is it really difficult to get an admission in GW high in spite of applying last nov.? Would really appreciate your input on this as i have not applied to any of the other schools.

Thanks

Amya,
I think if they say seats are not available, that means that they may have no more seats available for that particular grade. Call the admissions and talk to them. I will be enrolling my kid to 5th grade and they have told us that seats are available for 5th grade. When we visited, they mentioned that for certain grades they didn't have any more seats left. So maybe it depends on the grade? I would call them and talk to them.

Thanks for the reply zen and Farook, i spoke to the school quite a few times and i am getting the same reply. Heard about the Benergatta branch, it would be very far to commute from work. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Green Wood would be a good option. They provide their own A/c transport. How far is your home by the way

My roots,
Is this still the situation in DPS north? I had read somewhere that they are now charging by the month, for activities. Are there a lot of hidden fees?

Greenwood has many good facilities. I got very good reviews of it from my friend whose son is studying at Greenwood High International School.
