Any recommendation for a swimming pool, indoor or outdoor, for a visitor? Not a member of any club.

Which part of Chennai. Are you looking to swim or just lounge and watch others swim?

I am an avid swimmer, and would like to swim everyday even when I visit India.
I am looking for a relatively well kept pool facility; preferably in Adayar area, but not particular about location.

You can try MAC Adyar, it's near the MRC ground in Adyar and had been there personally a few years back though. It was clean and well kept at that time.

I used to go to the pool at the Savera Hotel. If I remember correctly it was Rs.800 or 1000 for a day pass and 7000 for a monthly pass. Not big enough to do laps but better than nothing. If you drink, there's a bar underground that you can walk back and forth to. 3-5PM or so is kiddy training lessons time so they ask you to step out of the pool.
