Hotel/Banquet Hall recommendations - Hyderabad/Secunderabad

We are planning to celebrate our daughters first birthday in Hyderabad, we will have about 100 guests, want to make it grand function, my budget is up to 2 lakhs for hall+food and then need to look for decorations/event organizer and photographer etc.

Please provide suggestions for hotels/resorts/banquet halls

Do that grand celebration when your child is a little grownup. Then she too can remember, as well has have fun at the event. Now, she'd get tired and cranky and everybody else would have fun at her "expense". 2 Lakhs for food and hall ?

1st birthday celebrations are not usually for the kid but to celebrate that a couple has become a dad/mom and have transitioned into a family. Its about renewing network contacts and "giving back" when the then-couple were invited to a similar ceremony. There was a thread recently about "no gumption", and here is a gumption.

I think that is a good budget for a nice party..
It feels good to spend on decorators, artists, food , photographer .. the best economy driving spending.
Hall guys are greedy and doesn't show any real respect for customers.. One hall we rented last year in fact through a close referral.
I paid half in advance. And he has put a person behind me to get the rest of the half, bugging me every minute after we entered in to function hall.

earlier there used to be a blog..it seems it got promoted to business .
