Even though India lost today badly against New Zealand (Thanks for Sodhi - an Indian Origin New Zealander who bowled superbly for New Zealand), Sodhi has helped India to kick their back and hope our Team realizes that they are too over-confident and will work hard to win the world cup!!

I am a huge fan of Dhoni but today is the day where we lost the match because of Dhoni's Captaincy:-). The Pitch is turning right from the beginning and Dhoni got the pitch of what he wanted. Kate Williamson is very smart who read the pitch and brought 3 spinners resting all of his fast bowlers. Dhoni should have done the same of bringing all the spinners. Unfortunately, the big let down is our top class players cannot play turning balls under our own turf which is a question mark regarding our Team's Talent.

Time to take the challenge, move forward and win the world cup!!

All Though I want India to win the T20 world cup 2016. But I have a feeling it is going to be very tough. Because even though we have a formidable batting line up but at the same time we have a weakness in batting department. The main weakness is - If one of the top 3 batsmen fail to do a substantial score and than our middle order and lower order becomes very vulnerable. We also has weakness against spin on a good spinning track. Especially Yuvi because he has so much high back lift it becomes certain times impossible for him to control his strokes to keep the ball on ground. Raina is not the same like he was few years ago. H.Pandya he is neither strong batman or strong bowler and R.Jadeja he is bit of a bowler who can bat also. So we have problems and it is very hard to over come at this juncture.

I could be wrong but my opinion in a low scoring match like this, Rahane would have made a difference. Needed someone to stay at the wicket and take run a ball. Everyone got out going for big shots. I still prefer Rahane to Yuvraj in the squad.

It is a tough choice and sad also, as Rahane is one the best work horses (like the Dravid's now), but unfortunately have to accept Dhoni's argument. See this format of the game, you have to practically assume every game is high scoring. Almost never you will read the pitch to decide it will be low scoring. And even if you do, you cant just change strategy for 1. If he cant play early enough, he cant play. Looks like early slots are full already. Our openers look vulnerable, and are going to fail more than they succeed, but we have to be impressed with this big match player capabilities and in this format, it is more important.

It is a tough and sad call, but objectively speaking, I cant find fault with it. But I am suspecting there is some replacement to Yuvraj is possible, I dont know who that is. Some one like Yuvraj of 5/6 years ago.

My predictions: Australia, New Zealand, West Indies and South Africa/England will qualify for Semis. Australia vs West Indies for finals. It all depends on Chris Gayle in the finals. If he clicks than West Indies wins the final other wise Australia. All though I love to see India wins but it do not have enough fire power. Weak links Yuvraj, Raina, Pandya.
