Hi my daughter is a oci card holder residing in india for 3 years. I am planning to apply indian citizenship for her.
We are aware that we have to renounce her usc citizenship and we are ready to do that.(she is having serious health issues)
she will be turning 18 next year.
looking out if anyone has been successful with the process.

Apply under Section 5(1)(F) of the Citizenship Act of India i.e. Citizenship through registration. It requires only 365 days of stay in India prior to making an application.
If her or either of her parents are or have ever held Indian Citizenship, she will be eligible.
Copies of her or parents' old or current Indian Passports shall be most useful.
