Wipro offers C1 band in US. What salary can I expect in India???

Hi friends,

I am offered C1 band in USA. Considering the current Visa issues, I want to be prepared for any denial.
So, I would like to know roughly the salary range for C1 band in India.
I have 14 years of experience and I am not happy with my current work.
The new project that I would be working is on cloud and latest tech stuffs.
That said, I am also said that Wipro would offer opportunities in India if there is any denial.
But, they are not saying anything about salary in India.
So, can any one let me know what is the salary range for a C1 band in India?

C1 band in Wipro is Lead Consutant / Project Manager / Sr. Project Manager. In USA salary range is $110 K - $130 K. In India, salary range is Rs 35 lakhs - Rs 40 lakhs CTC.

i asked a delivery heard today and he was saying that he knows C1 band people in the range of 10 lacs to 20 lacs. So he was saying that I could anticipate somewhere in the range of 15 lacs ctc. Any others who could guide me here please???

That seems right. People in this forum state very inflated salaries as per my experience.
India service delivery companies DO NOT Pay a lot these days

In that band in Wipro there will be people with 12L as well as 30L salary. The range is pretty broad. It all depends on your prev salary, how badly they need you and how the guy who is hiring you positions your candidature. I know a guy who joined there at 30L because he had a connect within the company and his skill was relevant to the projs they were doing.

In US I would be surprised if they pay more than 100k. I have no datapoints for US but just my guess based on offers in similar companies form that industry.

For that salary I would only go to office to have tea/coffee and lunch. Don't expect any work from me :)
