Trump winning again in 2020

With the current political climate and rising right wing extremism, I have started to believe that Trump may actually get reelected in 2020.

What are your thoughts?

Yes, there is a very good possibility......but we have a mid term to go through in less than 4 months....

I am wondering, how long 45% Americans can hold the rest 55% hostage. Unfortunately democrats dont look to be in great shape either...

Too early to speculate.

Let Mueller finish his probe. What if he has found something that disqualifies Trump from running? May not be Russia related, but could be some other legal issue. Trump has to first get over that hurdle.

Plus, there is November. If the Republicans don't retain both houses, it may reduce Trump's chances.

I wouldn't speculate now till these 2 above are done with. Pretty important, as one is a rule of law hurdle and the other is the will of people hurdle, both cornerstones of a democracy.

Even is Trump remains eligible to run for 2020 I am guessing he is going to opt out - becoming president was always a means for him to stay in the limelight and expand his business. They were expecting to lose and were preparing to open lower end luxury hotels in Trumpland. Being president is too much trouble for him.

Wishful thinking I say.......I am not sure you even know a narcissistic person.........once they get into the most bright limelight, they will like to keep the shine more there rather than exit........keep in mind at age 75 you can barely get any other sensory happiness than giddy feeling of power and attention.......not to mention.......he also has to prove he is legitimate president......to get over the feeling of not-upto-the-mark son he was...

Nobody used to give a sh1t about trump and he had to go to howard stern show and brag about how hot his daughter was to get some attention........you think he will leave the limelight....when 45% of the crazies are willing to overlook the fact that the president is a stooge of Putin??

Healthcare costs lowered - done
Wall built - done
China currency manipulation stopped - done
All countries respecting the US again- done

Apologies if I missed anything big. So of course, his base has to be happy. They were delusional to begin with, so they can continue to delude themselves.

Question is those in the middle / independents, who chose him over Hillary, how will their calculus change when its someone else instead of Hillary.

Trump will be re-elected again Period. Modi will be gone in the next election, Congress will come back. Indian rupee will be 90's or 100 in 5 years(he..he..once modi is gone..all guju's will default..recession..etc). Let's check back one by one.
