ITVs pre-tax profits have surged by 39% to 拢605m in 2014 following a strong performance from ITV Studios and healthy advertising and online growth.The commercial broadcaster reported total revenues of 拢2.96bn for the 12 months to 31 December 2014, up from 拢2.75bn the previous year. Its pre-tax profits in 2013 stood at 拢435m.ITVs earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization EBITDA grew 拢110m, or nearly 18%, from 拢620m in 2013 to 拢730m in 2014.ITV benefited from a growth in advertising revenue fuelled by the 2014 World Cup, with a 6% increase year-on-year to 拢1.62bn.
