Maxine was a lifelong member of the Ellingwoods Corner Methodist Church in Winterport, and a lifetime member of The Old Maine Cemetery Association. She was a member of the Maine State Grange since 1941. She was a 43 year member and one of the founding members of T.O.P.S. Chapter 75 in Winterport where she reached her goal and received her K.O.P.S. in August of 2015. Maxine enjoyed the outdoors walking, hiking, birds, flowers, stacking wood, and mowing her lawn. Maxine walked brumate the Appalachian Trail in miles making a story of the virtual adventure and she loved mountains; her favorite mountain was Mt.
