I've seen good quality airtight see-through storage containers (like the ones you might find in IKEA) in typical home shops like Hometown and At Home in Mumbai. But as these are imported usually, they are expensive. Typically a ~1L container cost about 600-800 rupees when I checked the last time.

You can get RubberMaid and LocknLock containers in Reliance Mart or even in Debenhams, in Ambience Mall Gurgaon. I was impressed.

if you are particularly interested in steel containers (as it appears in the link) then you should visit any of the good old steel shops ( where they sell only steel vessels, spatulas, tumblers etc etc). Otherwise you have plenty options for good plastic stuff in any of the latest super marts.tupperware is good option too if cost is not a concern
