PIO Application (SF Consulate) - Birth Certificate question (URGENT)

Post by subhap »

SF Consulate General says: 1 Colored Copy of Birth Certificate - Notarized and attested by both parents. Some Notary i spoke to who did notarize PIO applications + Support documents said, they didn't notarize Birth Certificate.

I would like to find out if Notary for Birth Certificate (copy) is required when mailing application.

Yes,they dont notarize Birth certificate as you can get certified copy

You need to take a copy of Birth Certificate, attest the same in their presence and get it notarized. Its that easy
