What are the good locations and areas/ societies in pune where one can have a good house/ apartment for rent.. where the neighbourhood is good and the corporate people are living there.

I like Aundh and Baner area since these are close to Mumbai Pune expressway and Hinjewadi..in the meantime having all the amenities. Sindh society (Aundh) is a good one but doubtful of many coporate people living there.

Omega Residency, Baner is a nice small community with 3 bed rowhouses and apts. with majority of corporate folks.

We just moved to the NIBM Road area and we are liking it so far. Other good areas would be Koregoan Park and Kalyani Nagar. These are on the opposite end of town, relative to Hinjewadi, though.

Good locations/projects go for 4000-4500.

How is Pashan-Sus Road? What are the rates there?

Pashan sus road near the balaji temple is pretty good. There are lot of good projects around. and the area is better accessible to pune. if you go on wikimapia you can get an idea of the location if you seach for pashan lake

I think it was around 3200/sq ft.

It depends on where your job is going to be. Personally I don't want to drive in Pune traffic. If you are(will) work in Hinjewadi and closeby Aundh / Baner area either side of the river (PMC or PCMC) are good. I can not imagine myself driving from NIBM road to Hinjewadi. Also I would suggest to see the property yourself before sales dead.. You can book before visiting.
