Title seems misleading. Is n't it the job of evolutionary scientist to adjust phylogenic structure with new fossil discovery ?

So standard veg-non veg tussle started more than million years ago and shows no sign to recede.
"Difference in size between males and females seem to be related to monogamy, the researchers said. Primates that have same-sized males and females, such as gibbons, tend to be more monogamous. Species that are not monogamous, such as gorillas and baboons, have much bigger males.
This suggests that our ancestor Homo erectus reproduced with multiple partners"
Why did world propagate and practice monogamy? Males could have been bigger and stronger than the current breed :-)

I agree. One fine day, Brahman decided to plant a few elephants onto the earth and while he was at it, he put up a few ants and a few humans. Then he created a 100 billion souls and let them populate the species he created. Wonderful.
Or do you have a different theory and while you are at it tell us how you arrived at your theory and the basis for it.

I suspect rudra is saying that Evolution is an illusion. Only Brahman exists (remember ONE, NOT-TWO and all that jazz?). So there is no question of Brahman creating elephants or humans, because there ain't any. It is our perception, and perception is an illusion. All we need is to do is to evolve our minds to realize that nothing is created or evolved.

Whats a big deal about calling it a Natural selection or brahman?
If some one calls the world, as we see it, as just a Natural selection... it will have no impact on them whatsoever. If they call it some God is creating it and hence caring or watcing it, there is a chance that they will be driven by some hope.
For example i write this message with total awareness that somebody is reading or watching what i'm writing. ie., i have a virtual image of purujit or Desi before me when i type this. Hence before completing it i might have grown by some nano units in intelligence carachter etc.,
Isnt it funny to beleive somebody connecting some dots randomly to give shape to a story and says we were all kind of a monkey went right.
Whats wrong with some religious guy saying that we are all of the same god that went wrong.
There was some scientist who said we are all a piece of sun gone wrong..
Please dont fall or follow... it doesnt matter whether we lost our tails, but it sure matters if we dont develop a (psychological) spine. :emwink:
