Not sure if you mentioned this - where are you r2i-ing to India for the initial six months?

Congrats LI. Good luck with your r2i. I am assuming you are moving to Chennai. Hope to meet you soon. I am totally with you on looking for a job after 6 months. That's totally required after being in US for a long time and getting things done here.

Just a note of caution (from my current personal experience) : Be prepared to answer all and sundry regarding if you are applying for a job, getting an interview and when you will start working.

Congrats LI. Enjoy your Europe trip and remember that you will be R2iing in the peak of summer. Make sure kids are prepared for the heat and hope A/c's are there for the initial period that you are going to stay. Of course mangoes, watermelons, Cantolopes and Sathukodi's will be in plenty. And sugarcane with a tinge of ginger and Mint coolers. Yummy!
