Low flame on built in hobs ?

I am looking at buying a built in hob for my kitchen...one of my friends showed me her glem built in hob and the flame on even her biggest burner was too low..she said she has trowuble making rotis and pooris on the low flame...

I have checked out various brands and none of them can let me demo the flame...

Can members here who have bought built in hobs from glen/kaff/faber/sunflame advise me if they face the same issues...and which is a good built in hob to buy

I have a Faber. Have been using it for over a year now. This one has 2 regular-sized burners, One very big one , and one small one. We tend to use the 2 regular burners which are at the back more often. The very big burner is used only for cookers and the very small one is used for heating in really small vessels, like the tadka thingie.
Never had any trouble making phulkas on the regular-sized burner.

Hi do you have the built in one or the countertop free standing one...I have seen that there is a difference in the burner design free standing ones and built in ones and this is common across all brands...
the design of the built in hob is such that there small covering cap over the central burner ring which reduces the flame unlike in countertop freestanding ones

I just checked.
We are unable to use the range we brought in from the UK due to burner jet problem.

We have a countertop 'Spectra', certainly more than 6 years old or may be 10.

Spectra has 4 burners (may be different sizes) and each has a knob that can set the flame to three settings each, viz. low, medium and high.

Built-in one. Did'nt have a choice here as the previous owner took away his hob and I had to buy one to replace the big hole in the kitchen platform. Yes this does have a black round thing in the center and the fire all around it. But still never had any problems with it. I am happy with the amount of heat/fire I get.

We had Cata brand countertop installed in our home in GGN. Yes there is a problem with the flame...first we thought it just needs cleaning and called the co. guy...he said nothing wrong, it is like this only. One more problem was that, burner top are very flat and if u put kadai (semi or rounded at the bottom) there is always a risk of falling down....finally took it out and filled the gap in between the counter and started using our regular one..:) money wasted and lying down in the storeroom:(

they look very fancy and cool but practically not that good especialy for chapatis...we checked diff other models but all were similar designs....
