2012 school admissions in Bangalore

Admission season is approaching fast. Let's use this thread to communicate which school is giving out forms, what is the present fees structure, what are they asking for interviews, etc.

I'm looking for get my daughter into 1st grade. Appreciate if any one can send information on from when the admissions will start.
Particularly interested in the following...

Baldwins, Bishop Cottons, DPS North, Vidyanikethan

1. NPS Indiranagar has already started issuing forms. Fees could be around 90k.
2. DPS north will start issuing forms sometime in last week of Oct.
3. Sri Kumaran's - already issued forms for Nursery online.

Will keep on adding when i get more details.

NPS Indiranagar's form is very easy to fill out. All they need is to fill out address, phone, and annual income for both parents. Both parents need to sign the form.
You need to attach copy of birth certificate, and copy of previous mark sheets (mark sheets not applicable for LKG admission).
Had I known these facts before, both me & my spouse had gone there together & collected, submitted the form on the same day.

Will the other forms be similar?

If we apply to NPS Indiaranagar, can we also apply NPS in Koramangala & HSR? - meaning can one apply to multiple NPS branches?

I hate the annual income part. One of my colleague told me that the hidden rule at NPS is that they need at least 25 lakhs of family income. I am not sure how true is that info.
