R2I diary/stories of younger returnees

Post by r2itrial »

I am 26, single male, and planning to return back within a year and was looking for diaries from people who have been in a similar situation.

If you guys know stories of younger returnees from family or work, please post here.

Thanks

I dont know pointers of this. But I can tell you for sure. Certainly it is a of order of times easier to do now than later as more & more x=x+1 happens. Work for couple more years if you wish without getting married etc., and stop abruptly and move on & pretend as though you never visited abroad and live happily ever after. Read so many other diaries & see for yourself, that the probability is greatly reduced (less than 1%), later on. And when people say that is unfair etc to your future wife, remember it is more unfair to bring her to US and later move even if she has signed an agreement that she will move. So I dont buy any argument of unfairness, but instead see that as more fair & just.
Of course this applies only iff you actually want to move to India and good/bad for better/worse want to live there. Otherwise US is a great place to live & seed your next generation. After all for every 1 person who moved otherway & did that successfully, there is probably 98 person who didnt, and majority is always right.
