Need rec\'s for a good eye hospital/eye surgeon...

Hi! We have now moved to Bangalore and live in the Outer Ring Road area. I need recommendations for a good eye hospital and an eye surgeon. It would be great if the hospital is around my residential area. I searched on google and got a list of the same but its confusing as I don't know which doctors/hopitals are good. I am also asking some of my friends but any help from you guys will be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Shankara Eye Hospital is newly constructed on Airport-Whitefield Rd. (Varthur Main Rd), just off of ORR.

Thanks for the reply. I called them but the hospital will only open in May. Are there any other eye hospitals specially for retinal surgery. If some one knows about this please let us know.

Narayana Nethralaya is an institution (close to ORR) that I have oft heard of. I believe they have a branch on BG road or on Hosur Rd.

There is one next to HSR layout, on Hosur Road. Basically you need to go south (towards Hosur) from Silkboard junction on Outerring road.
