Broadband connection in Mumbai

I would like to know what are the options for Broadband connections in Mumbai. I am planning to R2I in western suburbs of Mumbai.

get hathway cable. I pay 275 a month for hathway and the speed is very good. There is a limit to download maybe 2gb a month. Higher plans have that waived.

I have been using MTNL DSL connection for my Broadband needs in Mumbai. The Speed has been satisfactory though it varies depending upon the time of the day and peak time speed can be much less than the commited speed. Check out the tarrif at http://mumbai.mtnl.net.in/triband/htm/tariff.htm#tariff

The customer service is pretty good as they respond to your complaints 24 X 7 for any Broadband related issues.

tata indicom broadband in Matunga(W) has been fabulous. 4 months usage.

2Mbps pre-paid unlimited bandwidth-usage plan
Quick Power 360 on http://www.tataindicombroadband.com/access/prepaid/order/prepaid_tariff_c.html

charged based on usage-time, and not monthly MBs

speedtest.com says my download is 1.8Mbps
