Cheap Calling card for India

Post by layman »

Have anyone used http://www.airtelusainc.com/default.aspx

I keep getting marketing calls that it is affiliated to Airtel and call to India is 1.5 cents. But, the website does not mention anything about this website being connected to Airtel India.

*I've been a loyal customer to Airtel Call Home Service [Bharti Airtel (USA)] for the past few years. But as per their website, https://www.airtelcallhome.com/ this service is shutting down with effect from 30th June, 2011 (2400 hrs). onwards.
I feel that the website you had mentioned is just another calling card service and not the affiliate of Airtel India .
Hope this helps.

* Now that
[Bharti Airtel (USA) is discontinuing its service , I'm looking for other alternatives. We do most of our chatting via skype, but a handy call home number wouldn't hurt. Am not a fan of reliance services either. Vonage -We don't use as much "talking " via phone. Got any suggestions for an alternate service ?

Yes. I did some research on the web and confirmed that this is not connected to Airtel service and the name is fake. I am not going with this.

For your usage, I think http://www.indiald.com/ might be a good option. Call quality and customer service is very good/
