2009 Hyderabad School admissions

Post by Hyd2009 »

Hi,

Wanted to start a New thread about admissions to Chirec for the new academic year.

We were told it is a two step process, begining with the admission inquiry (by filling the inquiry form) followed by the application form (which will be sent to only the shortlisted applicants ).. after speaking to some people we found out that they have submitted the application without having to go throug step 1 (inquiry)..

We were late and just this past week submitted the inquiry form for our daughter who will be eligible to attend 1st Grade..

Look forward to your contribution and helping each other demistify the admission process..

Thanks

Other than nursery, there's no good chance of getting admission into Chirec. Even sublings of chirec students who have higher priority couldn't count on it. You could spend 2-3 full days on this very long shot but plan your backup routes.

I last week got the formal rejection letter for my child into PP2, but I realized it anyway in December itself and admitted my son into Kennedy at that time.

BTW, people speak very highly of this school so it may be worth it to give it a try.

If your are interested in admitting your child into CIE program then the School will listen to you else for all practical reasons this years admissions are closed.
Approach the school in person and talk to them

Aren't you the Managing Director of that school ?

You are better off writing about your school in that capacity, explaining your ideas for the school. This is not a real estate thread and no one will get offended if you talk about your own school.

So tell us more !!! :)

Sir, if you want to promote your school please do so openly. Please do not resort to these back door measures, and even if you are, try to be smart about it. Creating an ID with your last name, when your full name is listed in MD's capacity on the school's website is really not a smart idea.

Your other post about the edumagzine website, please acknowledge that its your own website. Ever heard of something called private registration when buying a domain? It hides the registrant's information. You should consider buying that before "finding" your own website.

crk09;141307Anybody out there have any information on Hillside Academy in Jubliehills. I am looking for admission of my kids; LKG and 2nd grade for June 09.
I had a friend visit the school and they said it looked good. New buildings and all the talking was good.
Aparently; it is run by Roots Group. I think this Hillside used to be called Roots before.

We are moving from New York to Hyderabad April 09. Looking for decent school around Jubliee hills.

I have several friends whose children study at this school. From this year onwards, the school is being managed by Manipal Group and has been renamed as Manipal Hillside Academy..Manipal, which has a solid track record in higher education, has now entered school education and runs over 10 schools across the country. My friends have very good things to say about the school especially with the school now being managed by Manipal - very good infra - multimedia based teaching in all classrooms, nice large playground and sports facilities, good teachers and management by Manipal which understands education..the school offers IB program from prep to grade V and CBSE from VI onwards..Fees are quite reasonable as well.

Hope this helps!
