Hi Amdavadis,
I have question for you all. What are the options in Ahmedabad to investment in commercial real estate.

I personally feel Ahmedabad does not have the scale, demand and options that some of other cities like Delhi/NCR, Bangalore has but do you any ideas, suggestions ...

My budget would be limited $ 200K for a commercial property with expected yield of at least 7 - 8 % per year....

My brother recently moved to Ahmedabad and finds it a neat place to live, for a small family. IT is very hot though but a lot dry compared to Kolkata/Mumbai. He is renting near Vastrapur area. How cosmopoliton is Ahmedabad?

I am from Ahmedabad as well, currently in Manchester, CT for about 8 years now.

Wondering if there are any threads related to properties/prices in Ahmedabad; I know we used to have a thread for Gujarat in the old MSN forum.

This is the general price trend in Ahmedabad

Neharu Nagar Ambawadi Area--- 14k to 15k per yard, Typical 400 yard plot cost you 60L

Anand Nagar- (Old Jodhpur Area) ? Decent Flat 35L to 45L also available in 50-60L range

Vastra Pur ? I assume same as above

Between SG Road and New Sardar Patel Ring road, -- Typical New Bungalows 1 to 1.5 Core

Bopal ?Ghuama area-- Twin Bungalow- 35-40L?land price in this area 4.5K per Yard

Science city area?40L -50L twin/ individual bungalows (Total area less than 500yard)

These are not accurate number.
